What does healthy soil look like? In Regenerating Life, we get a glimpse through the microscopes and craftsmanship of my colleague and friend, Rubén Duro.

We’ve all heard about the underground network of fungi and microorganisms through which trees and plants communicate. In Regenerating Life we see it.

For 25 years, Rubén Duro has dedicated his life to exploring, capturing, and sharing the wonders of the microbial world. Ruben’s work has been published widely in journals and exhibited in museums. His photography of the microbiological world was included in Symbiotic Earth (2017). To see some of his amazing images go to the Science into Images Instagram page.

We are delighted to announce that Rubén is taking on the distribution of Regenerating Life for the Iberian Peninsula. He is currently arranging for Premiere screenings of Regenerating Life in Barcelona, Valencia, and Bilbao and for a possible streaming contract for Spain and Portugal.

P.S. Next week’s RegenLife Minute will look at how unhealthy soil causes fires and how industrial agriculture has destroyed the soil and is a significant cause of the climate crisis.
