From October 3, 2025 through January 4, 2026, Regenerating Life and excerpts from Symbiotic Earth were shown continuously on separate screens as part of the 7th Lisbon Architecture Triennale. Titled How Heavy is the City, the Triennale was made up of three exhibitions across three venues: Fluxes, Spectres, and Lighter. Regenerating Life and Symbiotic Earth were part of the Lighter exhibit which focused on “the experiments of living in the troubled dynamics of the technosphere.” The exhibits brought together scientists, architects, urbanists, artists, philosophers, thinkers, and practitioners.
Curators Ann-Sofi Rönnskog and John Palmesino of Territorial Agency recently sent us photos of the exhibit and wrote that they were “delighted with the experimental outcome of the exhibitions and the feedback – your film on constant loop was left in people’s minds as the way to make cities LIGHTER – more biosphere, more light!”
I am thrilled that my films are part of an ongoing conversations among people of a wide range of disciplines searching for ways for humankind to live on the Earth in harmony with Gaia.
