I am delighted to announce that the Mulloon Institute is hosting the Australian Premiere of Regenerating Life on October 26th at the Palace Electric Cinema in Canberra.
Walter Jehne, who provided the initial inspiration for the film, is a member of the Mulloon Institute’s Science Advisory Committee. Walter is the one who introduced me to the concept of water governing Earth’s temperature. When I first saw a video on Biodiversity for a Livable Climate‘s website of the talk he gave at Harvard, it completely blew me away. I’m so grateful that Walter took a week of his time to work with me through five days of interviews in the hills of Vermont. He drew pages of diagrams to help me understand and visualize how water’s flow through living systems regulates the climate. (You can see one of his diagrams below.)
We are honored that the Mulloon Institute is presenting the Australian Premiere. The Mulloon Institute is a leader in landscape rehydration and restoration using regenerative agriculture principles. They work with farmers across Australia to create resilient, productive and profitable farms where agriculture and the environment work in unison. Their work has been recognized by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
