In this RegenLife minute we are introduced to the dung cycle. The minerals and essential nutrients that are necessary for life, except the gases, came originally from the breakdown of rocks. But this process takes a long time. Nature keeps these essential elements available through recycling. They are cycled and recycled through poop and decomposition.
This is why almost all forms of ecological agriculture prescribe animal dung for their compost.
